Asst. Front Office Manager (Staff)

Job Description

1. Supervise and coordinate daily Front Office operations, including Reception, Guest Service, Bell Service, and Telephone Operator activities.
2. Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes in accordance with hotel SOP and service standards.
3. Handle guest complaints, special requests, and service recovery professionally and efficiently.
4. Monitor room availability, room status, and coordinate closely with Housekeeping and other departments.
5. Assist in maximizing room revenue through upselling and effective room allocation.
6. Ensure all Front Office reports, cashiering transactions, guest accounts, and administrative records are accurate and completed on time.
7. Conduct daily briefings and provide operational guidance to Front Office team members.
8. Train, coach, and evaluate Front Office staff to improve service quality and productivity.
9. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, security procedures, and safety standards.
10. Monitor guest satisfaction scores, online reviews, and implement corrective actions when required.

Job Requirements

1. Strong understanding of Front Office procedures, including guest check-in/check-out, cashiering, room allocation, and guest relations.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
3. Familiar with VHP (Visual Hotel Program) and Front Office operational systems.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve service excellence standards.
6. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
7. Well-groomed, customer-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
