Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is looking for Junior Sous Chef.
The Junior Sous Chef will assist the Executive Sous Chef to support the Food & Beverage Kitchen Operation which includes all Kitchen outlets. The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality, manage and develop a team, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labor control and operating expenses and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates, which result in the long-range continued growth and profitability of the division and Resort.
We are looking for individuals who have strong Kitchen background, able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen, a passion for service and people-management skills. A creative mind with a passion to be ahead of trends is essential. This position requires a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and be visible in the operation during key events and operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- A college degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required.
- Well established Junior Sous Chef.
- A minimum of 3 years luxury resort experience preferred.
- A flair for innovation and creativity.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing budgets, labor, operating expenses, and food costs.
- Highly self-motivated, result oriented and a can-do approach to any task.
