Chief Engineering
Job Description:
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the engineering and maintenance team across all villa operations.
- Ensure all villa facilities, equipment, utilities, and building systems are properly maintained and fully operational.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules for electrical, plumbing, AC, pool system, water system, generator, and general building facilities.
- Respond quickly and effectively to technical issues, guest complaints, and urgent repair requests.
- Conduct regular inspections of villas, public areas, equipment, and technical facilities.
- Prepare maintenance reports, repair records, and engineering checklists.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for technical repairs, spare parts, and maintenance needs.
- Monitor engineering stock, tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Ensure all engineering works comply with safety standards and company procedures.
- Support pre-opening preparation, villa handover, defect checking, and operational readiness.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the same or related position.
- Experience in villa, hotel, resort, or property maintenance is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, AC, pool systems, building maintenance, and general repair works.
- Able to lead, supervise, and develop the engineering team.
- Good problem-solving skills and able to respond quickly to operational issues.
- Familiar with preventive maintenance planning and daily maintenance checklists.
- Able to communicate in English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple properties.
- Pre-opening experience is a strong advantage.
