OPERATIONS
Chief Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all engineering and maintenance operations during pre-opening and daily operations
- Ensure all villas, facilities, and equipment are fully operational, safe, and well-maintained
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and SOPs
- Supervise engineering team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Coordinate with contractors and project team during pre-opening handover and defect rectification
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, utilities, and operational costs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and company policies
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and ensure minimal disruption to guest experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 4–6 years experience in engineering/maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Background in hospitality, villa, or hotel operations is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to develop SOPs and preventive maintenance systems
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills in English
- Well-organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage
