Head Housekeeping
Job Description
- Lead, supervise, and schedule the housekeeping team.
- Ensure all villas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct room and villa inspections before guest arrival and after cleaning completion.
- Maintain cleanliness standards, room setup standards, linen quality, amenities, and guest supplies.
- Coordinate with laundry vendors or laundry team regarding linen, towels, and guest laundry.
- Monitor housekeeping stock, cleaning supplies, amenities, and equipment.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and service quality.
- Handle housekeeping-related guest requests and complaints professionally.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, lost items, or operational concerns to the relevant department.
- Support pre-opening preparation, deep cleaning, villa setup, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Experience in villa, hotel, or resort housekeeping operations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, room setup, laundry coordination, linen control, and amenities preparation.
- Able to lead, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong cleanliness and quality control standards.
- Able to communicate in English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
- Able to conduct villa inspections and ensure all areas are guest-ready.
- Good communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple villas.
